Congratulations to Woking Writers Circle members Carla Scarano – pictured at the mic at Write Out Loud Woking at the Lightbox – and Greg Freeman, who both have poems in the latest issue of South poetry magazine. Carla’s poem is called ‘Janet’ and is one that she read at a WWC meeting back in May. Greg’s two poems in South, which is published twice a year, are ‘The show’ and ‘Churchill in Madeira’. The latest issue, South 58, will be launched with readings by included poets at Bournemouth library on Wednesday 10 October at 7.30pm.
